This resource is designed to support media reporting on findings from the Australian Domestic and Family Violence Death Review Network Data Report: Filicides in a Domestic and Family Violence Context 2010–2018.
The tips were designed in consultation with journalists, researchers and peak bodies. They detail the significance and limitations of the study, while providing simple tips to ensure accurate reporting that centres children.
