Our research

Violence against women and children affects everybody. It impacts on the health, wellbeing and safety of a significant proportion of Australians throughout all states and territories and places an enormous burden on the nation’s economy across family and community services, health and hospitals, income-support and criminal justice systems.

On Thursday 2 July ANROWS CEO Heather Nancarrow will present a webinar for 1800RESPECT.

At the webinar, ANROWS: Engaging with practitioners, Heather will introduce ANROWS’s research on violence against women and their children, explain our approach to knowledge translation and exchange, and announce the soon-to-be established Practitioner Engagement Group (PEG).
