Violence against women and children affects everybody. It impacts on the health, wellbeing and safety of a significant proportion of Australians throughout all states and territories and places an enormous burden on the nation’s economy across family and community services, health and hospitals, income-support and criminal justice systems.

ANROWS was established by the Commonwealth and all state and territory governments of Australia to produce, disseminate and assist in applying evidence for policy and practice addressing violence against women and children.

How to make a complaint 

If you wish to make a complaint, please contact us by submitting an online form.

How will we respond? 

We aim to respond to your enquiry within a week of receiving it. Where issues require investigation, action or response, we aim to advise of the process that us underway.

We handle all complaints confidentially and share details only with relevant parties involved in the investigation.
