Bikie-involved domestic violence
Background
This project seeks to enhance supports and develop resources for victims and survivors, advocates and practitioners. The team of Associate Professor Bridget Harris and Dr Delanie Woodlock are keen to hear sector insights from the domestic and family violence, social work, health/counselling, justice, law and housing fields, where workers have assisted victims and survivors of bikie-involved (organised motorcycle gang/organised crime-affiliated) perpetrators. This project connects to broader work on high-risk offenders that is being conducted by Bridget and Delanie in partnership with FlatOut for their Beyond Survival: The Policing Family Violence Project.
