Channels of Hope pilot project (ARS project 9)
World Vision

World Vision will work with Aboriginal churches in Lajamanu to develop and implement practical solutions for dealing with domestic violence using action research to adapt an internationally successful programme to meet the needs of the community.
No More to Violence project (ARS project 10)
Tennant Creek Women’s Refuge

All activities designed to be a culturally appropriate anti-domestic violence campaign. A collaboration/partnership between remote domestic violence service providers, Tennant Creek Women’s Refuge & Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation.
The target group for the project is primarily Indigenous community members who represent a majority demographic of Tennant Creek and the Barkly Region.
Tangentyere Council
Project contact: Eliza Arbaci, Tangentyere Family Violence Prevention Program
A short film to educate agencies, community leaders and town camp members about family and domestic violence focusing on the pattern/cycle of violence. Primary prevention strategies, including messages of non-violence, to promote and support healthier, safer and more robust communities. A call to action for men to stand up and take action and responsibility for their use of violence.
Tjungukulampa Walytjararraku- For all us together, family (ARS project 12)

This project works with senior women leaders in remote communities of Central Australia to develop key messages and stories in English and in Aboriginal languages to talk up about violence against women and children and creating safe communities for women as well as explain about services available to those experiencing domestic violence in remote communities in Central Australia. Key messages and stories will also be told through paintings, images and multi-media content.
Act Local (ARS Project 40)

The project aims to mobilise six communities (Bainsdale, Kununurra, Palmerston, Gayndah/Munduberra, Normanton and Doomadgee) to develop a local Domestic and Family Violence action plan. Plans will include practical actions to increase community awareness, engage local resources to prevent and intervene and improve connections between service providers.
Partnerships include Community Elders and Leaders, community members, health and community service providers, police, schools, local government and business.
